Established as a small library in 2000, APOSS has evolved into a comprehensive organization dedicated to social upliftment in Faridpur and beyond. Officially registered in 2008, we have expanded our efforts to include library services, training programs, health initiatives, and community awareness campaigns. With the support of our community and various government departments, we are committed to creating a society that values education and empowers every individual.
We aim to foster a knowledge-based society, where every individual has the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute positively. Our programs target education, economic empowerment, and social awareness.
What began as a local library founded by a group of young visionaries in Faridpur has now grown into a multi-faceted organization with widespread activities. APOSS became a formal entity in 2008 and continues to expand its services and outreach.
Our work is powered by a committed team of volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to serve the community. We also collaborate with educators, health professionals, and local authorities.
Our library offers a wide range of books, from literature and science to sports and children’s stories. With a membership, you can borrow books and take part in reading competitions. We also recognize the achievements of our young readers through awards and cultural competitions.
Beyond education, APOSS provides essential services to those in need. We offer free education supplies, health checkups, and support to farmers. Our training programs in skills such as computer literacy and handicrafts aim to foster economic independence.
APOSS is committed to building a safer, more informed society. We conduct awareness programs focusing on the risks of drug abuse, terrorism, and social issues. By engaging local leaders, we strive to create lasting change.
